About spirits, "geist" (brandies), eaux-de-vie (fruit brandies) A speciality of the Schwanen in great demand are the noble brandies ("Edelbrand") which are distilled in our distillery. The senior partner Werner Wekerle is well versed in the traditional art of distilling. Thanks to many years of experience, his careful handling of excellent raw materials and his reliable taste, he extracts the spirit from aromatic fruits and sweet herbs, he turns mature grain into pure and digestible distillates. He is pleased to explain the old and unaltered distillation procedure to you.

As is so often the case, here the adage is true: practice is better than theory!
