Our cold spun honey is produced by our own bee colonies. This valuable food contains enzymes, vitamins, amino acids, flavours, minerals besides a high percentage of fructose and glucose. Strict regulations guarantee that no additives are adjuncted to the honey and that it is deprived of no substance. With the result that honey is a 100% natural product.
In Southern Germany the honey is classified as Flower Honey when it is collected from the fruit trees and from the dandelion. It has a light yellow colour and a mild taste.
The Forest Honey is produced when bees collect honey dew from spruces, Douglas firs, pines and fir trees; it has a strong taste, a light bitterness and its colour goes from light to dark brown.
Bees and their proverbial industry are hugely important to our environment, because they are the major pollinators of agricultural crops at our latitude. In this way they guarantee that the farmers will harvest their crops every year - and finally that the mankind can subsist.
